Happy Friday! The Musket is back with the headlines. Last month, LHS Science Department announced changes to the curriculum: AP Biology will no longer be available as sophomore year courses, AP Physics C will be split, and AP classes will meet four times per cycle. Read here about students’ opinions about the changes. On Jan. 24, the Model United Nations club hosted its annual LexMUN event. With over 300 attendees, members took the lead in organizing logistics, coordinating committees, and guiding participants through a day of debate and (hopefully) diplomacy. At LHS, students shine in a wide range of talents. Senior Shriya Jha has discovered her passion in music, amassing millions of likes on Tiktok and performing on American Idol. In the spring, the Drama Department will perform Guys and Dolls, a musical about New York City gamblers and missionaries. Learn about the preparations for the event here. That and more at lhsmusket.com. Have any questions for The Musket? Want to see a specific article in the newsletters? Want to send a Letter to the Editor?
